i LOVE LOVE LOVE "TO THE PIRATE'S CAVE", "the medallion calls", "he's a pirate." TO THE PIRATE'S CAVE DAMN NICE LAH! i love the beginning part. it just builds up to the very very very high climax and comes down, then builds up again. damn nice! trumpets, horns, violins, tubas, trombones and percussion part damn nice! but not easy. i hear a piano part inside too. damn nice and exciting please! (: LOVES. yay! love the way how the different parts of different instrus coordinate and come together to play as one symphony. damn nice please! you can feel the passion! (:

it's kinda sad to know that WE as SEC 2s came in ONE YEAR LATER and missed out all the fun the band had with pirates of the caribbean during appassionata IIX ): and i think our potential SYF piece is what, PIRATES DREAMS. SO CLOSE. yet so different. pirates dreams is quite boring compared to pirates of the caribbean please. ohwells.

oh and i realised hui juan likes "where'd you go" by fort minor too! i guess loads of people love it cause of the nice percussion background rhythm. (: see how important percussion is?
